Six Word Memoirs. #5

Family.

When I was younger we always had pets at home and now that were all older we don't have any animals. And I always wanted a dog, but my mom always says no because she thinks she'll end up being the only one who will have to take care of it. Everyone else in the family is on board with getting a dog except for my mom. 

I used exclamation point and a question mark because this is a very exciting topic and it's skmething that you would ask with excitement, in my case anyway I would ask in a very high pitched excited voice. 

These two dogs are Jenni's and I think that she is absolutely lucky to have two dogs when I can't even get one.

Confession. 

This might sound really bad, but when I was younger I never wanted to have any siblings, I loved being the only child and all the attention that you get when you're the only one is amazing. 

At the end of the day I love my brother to the moon and back, we fight and we laugh together just like any other siblings out there. 

Because the picture is so light I used black bold writing to make it stand our more but you still see me and my brother. 

The writing was tilted because unwanted the text to be bigger and ended up tilting it and was satisfied with the final look. Ending a sentence with a dot makes it a more serious statement which is what I was going for. 

Six Word Memoirs. #3

Obsession. 

What is better than breakfast food for dinner or lunch and breakfast? Nothing. 

I love breakfast food. Waffles and Crepes and Pankakes are my favourite. 

This is a picture of my breakfast the other day. Homemade waffle with chocolate chips and syrup. How good does that sound? 

I used plain white bold writing because I want the main focus to be the waffle in the picture and the words above the picture won't be flashing and too distracting. 

The reasoning behind the explanation point at the end of my six words is to show my excitement and how happy breakfast food makes me. 

Breakfast food works for any meal during the day, plus breakfast is the most important meal of the day; so why not just carry it through out  your whole day

? 

Six Word Memoir #2

Hate. 

This is a picture of my twitter feed. As you can see my tweets are simple, nothing too exciting. But there is this one girl that likes to make same tweets as me and talk about same things. Let's say I will make a tweet about me going away on a tropical vacation, approximately two hours later of you go onto her twitter feed you will see that she has tweeted something about wanting to go on a vacation to a tropical place. 

My six words for this picture are very literate because there is someone out there that does it on a regular apparently. 

I used this for the option 'hate' because this girl isn't my favourite person out there.  Every time I confront her about not bein original and copying my actions she denies it and it makes me kind of angry towards her. 

I used bold red writing for this text because I wanted it to stand out. The picture had lots of writing going on in the first place therefore using a bolder font with a brighter colour would not be missed. 

I finished my sentence with three dots to show my annoyance and make a statement that it shouldn't be read in a monotone voice, when I read something with three dots it just trails off and it kind of makes you think about what you read a little more.

Love. 

This picture is of expired movie tickets

because  my very first date with my boyfriend was at the movies, which is typical, everyone goes to the movies on their first date.

The image and the words fit together because it is exactly what happened. This is a picture of invalid movie tickets.

The filter that was used on this image is called 'Chrome' 

The reason I used pink coloured text was to represent love and make the text stand out more rather than using black or white on darker background. 

I used an emoticon of a heart to tie it in with the title 'Love'. 

The punctuation in this six word memoir is simple, I finished the sentence with a period because I don't think it is exciting enough for an exclamation point, and it's not a question, this was a statement that had to be finished with a period.
